Theme & Attire
This is a ski wedding and we strongly encourage guests to join in on the fun!
Our winter ceremony will happen in the morning and outside (weather dependent). For this reason, we ask that you show up in your ski gear ready to go. No formal attire required. Please prepare for cold winter weather conditions, but hope for a beautiful blue sky day!
We will be jumping on buses and heading to the ski hill after we get married. Guests will be shuttled to the Bridger Bowl ski area (10 minutes from the venue) and then we’ll hit the slopes!
For those who choose not to ski, you can either hang out at the Bridger Bowl lodge or return to Bozeman until the reception.
Ceremony Attire: Vintage Skiing!
Think about life before Gore-tex. Back when ski fashion stood for something. We don't mind what era you choose, so long as you have fun with it! Of course, you may still want to bring some of your standards in case we get a cold day on the slopes. We're happy to ski with you no matter your gear.
Our suggestions: vintage ski attire, 50s, 80s, denim, Aspen fancy, suit and tie, or cowboy skier
Accessories: headbands, fur, sunglasses, goggles, earmuffs, hats, scarfs, or cowboy hats
Reception Attire: Apres Ski!
"Apres ski"is fancy way of referring to the social fun after a day on the slopes. Wear what you would after any ski day, but dressed up, with added flair! You can go fancy, keep it simple, or simply wear the sweater underneath your ski gear. We won't say no to you wearing business casual wedding attire if that makes you more comfortable! We'll have changing areas available at the reception venue after skiing.
Here are our suggestions for the apres ski look:
Fun sweaters, goggles, or flannel shirts. Western wear, sheepskin, cardigans, or Uggs. Ladies pair with leggings, black pants or jeans. Men pair with jeans or pants. Accessories include headbands, fur, glasses, goggles, earmuffs, hats, scarves, winter boots, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats.
